Reno & Zahm LLP Launches Thought Leadership Article Series

Reno & Zahm LLP has launched a new series of original thought leadership papers with the goal of offering timely and objective legal insight to individuals and businesses. Named ‘Legal Briefs,’ the series offers papers prepared by Reno & Zahm attorneys which are available to view and download at no cost on the law firm’s redesigned website, www.renozahm.com.

New articles will be posted online periodically. Each article will address a new topic within the wide range of practice areas at Reno & Zahm.

“The attorneys of Reno & Zahm are committed to providing clients with sound, practical advice designed help them achieve their goals, whatever those goals may be.  It is this commitment that led us to launch this series and provide an accessible resource to individuals to help them understand legal issues that impact their personal interests or their businesses.  We hope that this resource will provide interested parties with a starting point for their evaluation of the legal issues addressed in the articles.”

Individuals may visit Reno & Zahm’s website and download the latest issue of Legal Briefs. They can also sign up to receive the firm’s informative electronic quarterly newsletter.

Reno & Zahm Publishes First Article in Series: Mergers & Acquisition

The first published article in the thought leadership series focuses on the increase in new merger and acquisition activity as the economy improves. Over the last several years, there has been a consistent increase in new merger and acquisition activity, with 2012 seeing global M&A activity rising to its highest level in four years.

The paper also provides information for businesses to consider before they enter into a merger or acquisition. These considerations include:

  • Does your company have redundant resources, or is it lacking important resources?
  • Is your company exceeding or falling short of its capital requirements?
  • Is your company in a position making it important to diversify?
  • Are you in an industry worthy of further investment?
